Grounds Maintenance Supervisor

Enthusiastic and committed grounds maintenance supervisors required for immediate start with Chester based Landscape Company.

You will be required to undertake a varied range of grounds maintenance duties including grass cutting, pruning and herbicide application works to a high standard on commercial projects.

Previous grounds maintenance experience along with the highest standards of workmanship, and a keen eye for detail are very important to this role.

• Maintaining areas to the highest possible standard.
• Carrying out duties such as grass cutting, pruning, and herbicide applications.
• Supervising a team of Ground Maintenance Operatives.
• Organising and planning order of work and allocating tasks per job.
• Keep operations running, monitor quality and efficiency, and ensure work meets timescale.
• Resolving any operational issues to ensure smooth running of projects.
• Continually seeking ways to improve operational standards and methods.
• Carrying out any other duties in line with the role as required in the best interests of the company.
• Ensuring working practices are in-line with the companies ISO9001 & ISO14001 policies.

• Knowledge of grounds maintenance and general health & safety
• Good team player
• Excellent attention to detail and work ethic

• Minimum of 2 years-experience within a similar role
• CSCS card
• Full Driving License
• NPTC PA1 & PA6 spraying license

• 8-hour shift

• Yearly bonus
• Overtime during the week at time and a quarter, and time and a half over the weekend.
